This is the single most hilarious thing I've ever heard in my life! Hahaha

I was fortunate to have mostly passionate English teachers who really gave me a love of writing.

My grade 12 music teacher was also very passionate and is still a good friend to this day.

Shouldn't it be "if any one of my classes is denied the use..." rather than "are denied the use..." because of the one?

no, because "classes" is not singular

Alright, thanks. That always confuses me. My english teacher tried to explain it, but I obviously missed it.

er, yes actually. "one" is the subject; "of my classes" is a measly prepositional phrase. the verb has to agree with the subject, not what modifies the subject.

but most people generally don't give a rat's arse, as long as your meaning is clear.

No, the use of "one" doesn't alter the subject, which is still the "classes", being plural. Accordingly, the qualifier is still "are".

Whoo! I watched this in my education class, and I loved it, I can't believe that something like that actually happened! So great!
