This video was prepared as a group assignment for the course titled "Data Communication & Computer Networks" @SEECS, NUST, Islamabad.

This video describes how a DNS Server works, a (Berkeley Internet Name Domain) Server is configured and explained in detail. Concept of caching server, Authoritative DNS Server is eluded. Adding Zone Files, Resource Codes for your own domain has been shown. Finally some sample Wireshark captures are analyzed and in the end some security issues in DNS have been addressed.
