20 times? Not true. But in any case, what's the source for that info? The Chinese government? They said only 6 people died in the tradgedy. Did you see the devestation? Wittnesses were prevented from entering the area for 12 hours or more. It happened at 3:00 AM. Schedualed bus transportation through the area was "delayed" till late afternoon. Probably to clear the area of the dead!

After the accident, a member of the Chinese launch team tried to shift the blame, "Eveyone knows that when you light the rocket it goes straight up, so, obviously, outside forces had an effect."
The Chinese claimed 6 dead and 57 wounded. Many believe fatalities ran well into the hundreds making it the worst launch disaster in history. feb/march 2013 air & space
