http://www.kirkmount.com Harpist Alex Bigney has played Celtic style harp music from the time he was a young teen, drawn to the genre by his interest in his Grandpa Bud's Nova Scotian heritage. In addition to solo performing, Alex loves to play Celtic music with his brothers: Sam on the Fiddle and Simeon on the cello. As teens, they formed the band Kirkmount and if you're lucky, you can still catch the whole group performing at Celtic and Folk festivals from time to time.
Alex arranged this set of traditional reels and strathspeys and decided to push back the chairs so he could really enjoy himself and get into the energy of the music.
