I hate how the intro is sometimes messed up by the instruments not accurately hitting those notes. No body's perfect, but awesome performers like Borodina deserves [close to] perfection with accompanying music since her rendition here is great.

That may just be her stage persona. I've heard very differently about her in real life (tho I don't know her personally). I think she's known as outspoken but sincere.

Most opera singers today are actually very educated (most are college grads with post-grad music degree) and very nice and down to earth! There are a handful who are pompous arses, yes, that's the same with every other group of people in life. It isn't fair to attribute the behavior of the very few for the entire group.
