With no material goods; Vanuatu is one of few primitive villages left. However, one aspect of the modern world that they have accepted to capture their story is 3D. Welcome to the real Avatar.

Vanuatu's non-materialistic way of life is all down to Chief Kowia, who after fighting in the WWI swore that, "He'd live a different life and keep his people living a happy life". The plan to build a 3D theatre nearby will allow tourists to see this world without causing disruption. Chief Kowia says, "The way it takes you inside a story and gives you that next level is really quite remarkable".

@2Dst1lls There isn't that many elders to treat well in our westernized society. They're all lacking the primitive wisdom; because our society has its inhabitants inflicting massive confusion upon themselves by using the media as a source of wisdom. Fuck, screw that. My parents are not worth shit for what they have learned me and told me. Why should I respect them, and treat them well when they don't know squat about prioritizing important aspects of the life you have been given.

@tSp289 When I meet a senior I certainly notice the one that deserves respect. And I don't use my time disrespecting the elderly I don't know. So there is little room for mistake here.

@Torulv The point is not that you respect everyone older than you. I certainly don't respect my old boss, but that you are generally respectful to people unless they give you a reason not to be. Kind of like innocent until proven guilty. Entertain the idea for a moment that someone who is older might have more experience and actually know what he's talking about. Look past the stereotypical 'old person' persona that many older people take on by habit, and you might find something.
