THANK YOU. i lived in gulfport on 2nd street (right off the beach) we didnt get near as much help as new orleans.

strangley everytime a hurricane hit me and the family would leave up north but this was the only one we stuck around for -_- i was 9 and the wind wasnt that bad where we lived but dude i was scared shitless cause of all the brodcast

i was in bay st louis mississippi for this storm no one can imagine what it was like the video is good and all but the sound of that wind will haunt me for my whole life the smells and the sights.
Im just glad someone knows it wasnt just New Orleans that was hurt by this storm

Yeah, the howling you hear is the wind. It really doesn't convey what it actually sounds/felt like. There's another sound that feel rather than hear below the howl. It's kind of a bass rumble that you feel in your chest. That's when you know you're in somethign serious...
