But seriously dude chill it's a movie Cruise is an actor just enjoy the movie until you can act as good as him and he ended up going off the edge mentally. It his was made in the 90s

Cruise is a good actor, occasionally brilliant, but the problem is he isn't self-destructive enough. All the greatest actors (film and stage) are mostly self-destructive partiers.  The reason? They know too much about the human condition and human motivation, and they think about it FAR too much, ergo they overeat, overdrink, smoke too much, do a lot of drugs, whatever. But the performances some of them give...fascinating. Cruise cares too much about his health, it betrays shallowness.
