The new Valley Metro Light Rail, in Arizona's Phoenix metro area, opened on December 27th, 2008 to great fanfare and huge ridership. Here's a brief clip from the day.

  • Nope, the Valley Metro Light Rail is run on the honor system. Not a turnstile in sight. There are attendants who will come through the car and check to make sure you have either a pass or a receipt for your ticket (printed on the platform).

  • Did they install turnstiles on all these station on that transit system?

    I don't live in phoenix. I live in new york. I asked because on all train stations on all lines there should be turnstiles.
