@CommanderC00L558 It is emotional, and it could also be seen as emo if you define emo along genre lines, where it's a subgenre of alternative/punk rock, with melodic guitars and emotional lyrics/vocals. Which this song definitely fits. But if you want to go with the "EMO IS GAY BLAHHH" angle, I can see where you're coming from too.
