There's been a new little addition to Robert Pattinson's life, and chances are you either love or you hate it. We're dishing on the latest with R-patz up next.

Hey guys, I'm Joslyn Davis and you're watching ClevverTV. When Robert Pattinson stepped out in to take part in the Hope for Haiti telethon viewers, he also debuted an impressive new beard. And this isn't just one of those "oh I forgot to shave for a few days and accidentally got a little scruffy" type of beards. Oh no, this is a full-fledged beard that could give even Santa a run for his money...except well, Santa isn't quite the sex symbol that Rob is.

And, in case you haven't noticed, beards seem to very in these days with several members of the Hollywood crowd- John Hamm and George Clooney are also rockin some pretty fierce facial hair these days too. R-patz has had a lot of relaxation time on his hands as of late and he's been laying pretty low, so that said he's had time to cultivate his new beard.

So what's the whole change of face? Well some reports are circulating that Rob is growing the facial hair for his upcoming role in Bel Ami, which is supposed to start shooting next month.

Our kudos go out to Rob for lending his time to help the people of Haiti, and we've also gotta say that we're pretty impressed with his full-on commitment to the beard thing.
