Make sure your Mac's is set to be discoverable via Bluetooth
Turn your PS3 off at the mains (not sure if this is actually necessary) Connect your DualShock 3/Sixaxis to your Mac using a USB cable. Press the PS button.
Unplug the cable. Press the PS button again if the controller isn't already trying to connect.
In the Bluetooth preference pane, you should see an entry named 'PLAYSTATION(R)3 Controller', unpaired. Don't do anything, just wait, and eventually the controller should connect. Remember to disconnect it using the Bluetooth menu when you're done, or you'll end up draining its batteries.

whenever I try to set buttons in dolphin to buttons on my ps3 controller the program unexpectedly quits help?

How did you configure the remote. I have dolphine and made it work for GameCube games but can't figure out how to set the controller for wii games... Please help

@Jakechinnius :L any computer nowadays is more powerful than a wii, hell computers that were out before the wii were more powerful than the wii :D so yeah it will work a charm! :)
