Showing how softsubs are displayed on the WDTV. The video used here is Mazui's release of Ookami-san.

This part shows what happens when there are multiple lines of dialogue at once. Normally the lines would display at both the top and bottom of the screen at once, but the WDTV just puts everything on the bottom row and again you can see the lines of text pushing each other out.

  • @b4ckr4bbit Yes because in general it works besides when there are multiple lines.

    Also, it depends how the subbers sub those parts because I have the WD TV Live and on some animes, multiple lines of dialogue show up properly while others don't

  • The fact that this thing can play mkv files as well as display the subtitles made this a must have for an anime fan like me

    This is something that most other similar devices fail to do which is why the Roku and Apple TV fail in my eyes
