Selma Wijnberg and Chaim Engel met and fell in love in the Sobibor killing center. After the young couple made a daring escape during the camp uprising and fled into hiding, Selma began a diary to record their experiences. • I don't know what extent your museum wants to go to purchase Holocaust related documents, but I have seen many postcards posted from the various camps listed on e-bay. There was an entire prison uniform going for about $12,000, postcards and documents going for about $250. It's really sad actually and while I would like to have one of these documents, I'm not going to pay blood money for an item from someone that was probably tortured and murdered.
