  • I am so proud of my Senator!! Way to go Senator Coburn. You are a patriot and a defender of the constitution unlike MANY others who were elected to do the same!!

  • It's so clear now isn't it? Obama and his progressive liberal followers want to transform the United States into a massive social welfare country, when government has the power to create and REMOVE your rights!

What a disgrace these progressive liberals are. Democrats are going to pay for their irresponsible and corrupt actions for many years to come!

  • @MsRedOnTheHead ok here is your proof my friend that our founding fathers were not literal Christians.

James Madison (author of the constituion) - "Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprise"

Thomas Jefferson "Religions are all alike, founded upon fables and mythologies."

John Adams "This would be the best of all possible worlds if there were no religion in it."

Benjamin Franklin "Lighthouses are more helpful than churches.

  • @MsRedOnTheHead you are quite ignorant, they were also the same people who wrote that separation of church and state is critical. You can be a christian and believe that gov. and religion should be separate. This proves nothing, read the constitution. Look what it says, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion"

  • @MsRedOnTheHead i completly agree with you. whats your point. I never said anything of the sort, that america is for other religions. All i am saying is that one of our most important principles is seperation of church and state. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" quoted from the first amendment.

  • @MsRedOnTheHead my friend you are arguing the wrong thing, it is a fact that many of our founding fathers were diests, not religious nuts as your self, (im christian btw) Yes some of our founding fathers said that, that doesnt mean we shouldnt have church and state. Read the first amendment "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" That basically means seperation of church and state

  • @MsRedOnTheHead you are right it doesnt say church and state but it says, Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" which is the same exact thing but written differently. Oh and dont be ignorant, go read history textbooks and do some research. George washingotn never even declared himself a christian, Thomas Jefferson rewrote a bible for himself. You ill informed idiot, to say that you know a lot about the constitution.

  • @dhahranksa They were not all perfect people, as there has been no perfect person on earth except Jesus Christ, but they KNEW that they came to this country to practice their religion freely; to escape persecution, and that religion, sir/ma'am, was CHRISTIANITY. Not islam, not hindu, not budhist....Christianity. They wanted to establish a country where ALL people could worship freely, and not take federal monies and support one religion or the other. You need to go to the Smithsonian and read

  • @dhahranksa as a matter of fact, that is if you do indeed want to be factual instead of an agenda driven liberal, there are countless diaries, letters and accounting's in books of our founding fathers and those who supported their efforts who gave honor to God, considered His teachings in the Bible and insisted that without them, this country, our republic would fail. You can twist the reality into whatever shape, form or fashion you would like to make yourself feel better.

  • @dhahranksa As a matter of fact, you pompous ass, I evidently know a lot more about the constitution and the writings surrounding it, the people who crafted it and what they had in mind. Most people don't even know that the term “Separation of Church and State” does not exist anywhere in the Constitution. That term was used by Thomas Jefferson in a personal letter he wrote to the Danbury Baptist Association of Connecticut on January 1, 1802. AND our founding fathers were not deists/agnostics.

  • @MsRedOnTheHead now let me give you a constitution lesson. This is in the constitution word for word, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion", that is declaring the separation of church and state. Those are the principles are country was founded on, in fact, many of our founding father were deists and agnostics. But you Tom Coburn "defender of the constitution" was rated 0% by the AU, indicated an anti separation of church and state. HE is violating the constitution.

  • @MsRedOnTheHead hahah, defender of the constitution. Let me tell you about the constitution (you probably dont know much about it) , all people are guaranteed equal rights, it is also mentioned in the deceleration of independence. Tom Coburn wants to ban gay adoptions, this is taking away a right due to the persons sexual orientation. That is the exact opposite of the constitution, gay people have every right to adopt, its guaranteed for all adult americans. And they are no different
