@dounowhoiam103 Still, even the more recent Stargate ones had battles occurring on a 2D plane, with ships banking to turn like they were in the air. B5 had everything happening in all directions, firing backwards, getting an entire formation to do a barrel roll, and at far greater distance.

Their battles were so much more three-dimensional than the Star Trek and Star Wars ones that followed.

@hismadjesty It was the peak of CGI of it's time, with realism that Star Trek and Star Wars could not compete.
