Violence continues to rage in Iraq after three car bombings killed at least 36 people, in Baghdad and Fallouja. Following the official end of U.S. combat operations, fifty thousand American troops remain in the country to train local security forces. But as RT's Paula Slier reports, it barely helps to make local residents any safer.

  • All Obama has done is change the name from Operation Iraqy Freedom to Operation New Dorn. He said he was going to decrese the troop strength from 144,000 to 50,000 and that the remaining troops would not be combat troops and that they would only advise and assist. Advise and Assist sound fimiliar ?? Go back to the days of Vitnam when they use to call them militery advisers...THE WAR IS CONTINUING................................

  • So i ask do you think Afgan will be the same?

Great job America.............TRILLIONS spent , 1.2 million people dead, NO WMD'S

The look on a soldiers face when he goes home to no jobs ... PRICELESS.

The so called boogie men that they are chasing don't need to fight they can just sit back and bleed America dry.

  • This clan thing is what's messing up the country.

  • @zOMGLaserGunzPewPew Nah man i highly respect the soldiers and American people it just your gov that has fucked up your country.

And no it doesn't make me happy........

So you can assume what you want.....but think of Aussies as Laid back people that will always help out our fellow man.

It's not the people it's the gov sorry for not stating that more clearer.

  • @thedevos1981 So seeing a soldier come home to no job opportunities makes you happy, so happy that you couldn't put a price on it? Why? Australia has participated in both wars. Shall I now assume all Australians soldiers are murders, and all Aussie citizens are bad people because they live in a country whose gov't sent soldiers to Iraq and Afghanistan? That is the logic you are using., I know you are young, well you're 8 years older than me, but you're still very childish and naive.

  • Obama wont be a two term president. Sorry Millhouse, youre out of here!!!!!

  • @thedevos1981

sooner or later they had to grow up and stop acting like Sadaam's children. ...reminds me of the Russians calling the Czar "little father"...hehehe...how silly in the modern world.

  • @EdwardRommel democracy lol..... no you haven't you've left the country to the fucken wolves(private contractors)

  • @EdwardRommel MORON

Bush was smart to invade Iraq because he knew it would attract Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah and other muslim terrorists to Iraq. Then the US military was in a position to kill them. Otherwise hunting down all their terrorist cells in the middle east and Europe would have taken too long.

  • @thedevos1981

the US military is bringing democracy to the desert....it's a good thing!
