  • fag do you think you're steve vai or something damn

  • You like the good music; unfortunately it seems you are jaded with the anal American narrow minded attitude. Pity

  • hey man thats a very clear interpretation of Coltranes playing-full of energy. Awesome man, i think you should experiment more with this kind of style. By the way is there a way to get the performance tape?

  • A well appreciated comment....Unfortunately due to copy right laws and ARU policy of people's faces...The tape will not be available for another 2 years...

  • WHAT

  • yeh i know its well stupid eh? You perform somthing, and cuz its recorded on their camera its not yours. Its apparetly because of the copy right laws and ARU's stupid policy of "people you performed with might not want to see their face next to yours" So for som reason all of that becames invalid after 2 years and we can get the tape....odd eh?

  • lol... this sounds like anus

how could you do this to trane guys

  • Nice job guys. A very interesting interpretation and fusion of a classic song. Props for the innovation and originality if nothing else.

My only critiques are that the lead guitar overpowers the piano (could be the recording), and that the drumming wasn't dynamic enough for the song nor did it address the fusion of the two genres well. Have him listen to the Branford Marsalis version if he hasn't already... Now there's some terrific drumming.

    Nonetheless, love the idea.

  • Wow!!! amazing!! :)

  • Metal jazz... It makes a harsh but interesting clash between the piano sticking to the dominant chords of the blues and the metally guitar.

  • Random question, but what key is this in?

Trying to figure it all out is all :)

  • Great to see metal players moving over to jazz... reminds me of Vernon Reid! Even out your 8ths a little otherwise it sounds a little too dotted crochet - quaver and too rinky dink. Pat Metheny does well with that sort of thing... a great swing feel, which is often closer to even 8ths. Keep it up and good luck.
