Transition Successfully Into the Professional Work Environment
Fortune 200 Sr. Manager, J. A. Rodríguez Jr. offers Not Intuitively Obvious lessons to professional success

Experience, as they say, is the best teacher, which holds very much true in business and the professional work environment. More often than not, the most seasoned professionals have been honed by years of trial and error, that is, by learning through their mistakes. Successful professionals, however, learn from the mistakes of others. During strained economic times, the most informed professionals stand a greater chance of pulling luck to their side. Consequently, a new graduate or a former member of the military who has recently entered the highly competitive job market faces a daunting challenge.

Seasoned professional and author J. A. Rodríguez Jr. helps those entering the workplace advance their careers by revealing insights from his extensive experience in Not Intuitively Obvious. Culling from twenty-one years of handling leadership roles, Rodríguez compiles the valuable professional lessons he has learned into one informative book.

Rodríguez presents a how-to on securing expectation fulfillment and managing the organizational perceptions that guide a professionals destiny from both an employee and a senior managers perspective; offering guidance not normally discussed in new employee orientation programs. He provides advice on establishing a rewarding mindset from day one, which facilitates all other aspects of the job. Rodríguez stresses the importance of creating ones professional value, trust and reputation, shaping the boss perception, and provides a workbook that enables the reader to conduct a professional self-assessment and develop a path forward.

No matter what the professional field, Rodríguezs revealing insights on job security, organizational perspective, significance of customer, perception management, and expectation fulfillment are universal and applicable in most any workplace. While dispensing timely and important advice, Rodríguez also compiles a memoir of the lessons that have helped him succeed. The winding thoroughfare forging professional success is Not Intuitively Obvious, but J. A. Rodríguez, Jr., offers them to those desiring to know that which is often unspoken, yet expected. • I feel like this is one of the greatest books that one can purchase as an undergrad entering their professional career. Or even if you are freshman seeking a job, it has excellent interviewing tips. It is very helpful and it has a lot of useful information that many people dont know. I know that any student or professional can benefit in one way or another from it.

  • I highly recommed his book "Not Intuitively Obvious" along with his seminars. Corporate America is highly competitive nowadays, especially with the way the economy is, and J.A. Rodriguez Jr. gives you the right tools and guidance to have that "edge" over your colleagues or even when applying for a job. This is really great information that no one should pass up.

  • I encourage anyone searching for tips or advice on transitioning from college to the work force to watch these videos and get the book! Not only does he provide tons of useul information but he also makes it understandable and helpful.

  • I strongly persuade anyone having trouble with the transition from the collegiate level to the professional world to watch his videos, read his book, and attend his Forum. This was the most beneficial forum i attend at school, more than any career center can tell you, he uses real life experience and years of professionalism in the job industry to teach you things outside the box!
