Part 1 of creating a Win32 window show how to create and register a window class.

Part 2 will show the final steps of creating a window and initiate the message loop.

I may well re-record this in a higher definition so the text can be seen better, or use a lower resolution on my desktop. I'm testing out different combinations right now, so I may well be updating this soon.

  • You might be interested in Camtasia - It's a crystal-clear video recording software. Give it a shot =3

  • @Inevitibility44737 Thanks mate, I've recently got a new recording program and I've got a few more tutorials in production at the moment using it. These first videos were low-quality mainly since I was new to video tutorials.

I've also recently invested in a new microphone which has crystal clear voice recording without background noise or hissing.

If they go well enough, I may re-record these starting tutorials in MUCH higher quality.

  • were you say

    Google is your friend:

"In the readme of WR2 it says it doesn't work with onboard graphic cards."

If re-installing DirectX doesn't work, I'm at a loss at how to help, this isn't programming related. If you're running on a laptop then there's a high chance that the GPU in that is the problem, if you're running on a desktop, then buying a dedicated graphics card may be a good option if you haven't already.
