Have watched this DVD a number of times now and always come away with something fresh to work into our study group.
If you have it, try just paying attention to Martin's training partners and how they move and respond to his work - just fantastic!!
Was lucky enough to be on the receiving end of Martin's work once and I'd say the amount/degree of hits these guys take is phenomenal (and that's just the footage we see!!) - great effort.
Can't wait for Martin's next release, for sure!!

Had the pleasure of working with Martin on some of this material in Ames, Iowa. As always, Martin's progression is clear, straightforward and logical. Martin's deep grasp of both movement and striking are presented in a clear sequence that allows both beginners and advanced practitioners to develop their understanding of the unique approach to striking in Systema. I highly recommend both Martin's live seminars and this excellent dvd.

Having had the privilege of training personally with Martin, I can say that this DVD is about as close to the real thing as you can get. The descriptions of the different types of strikes are outstanding and opened my eyes to some new concepts. Martin all touches on the core principles of breathing, movement and "soft" work - which are essential to learning Systema. I highly recommend this DVD.

This is one of the best DVDs I've seen on Striking and Movement. Very dynamic and extremely informative. It's as if you had this great teacher in your private home teaching you the secrets of SYSTEMA. I definitely give it a 5 star rating and recommend watching it!
Got this dvd from Martin the first day he brought them to his class. I was watching his class. This is a great introduction to Systema. If more people saw this there would be less internet bs on the validity of systema

Mr. Wheeler explains very well the internal workings of confrontation. He shows what the body is looking for when throwing strikes. It’s expectations and how to use those inherent habits to off balance an opponent. He opens the understanding of the basic linear actions and reactions when striking to encompass dynamic structure effecting punches and kicks that serve to break the WHOLE person down. Eye opening physical examples of psychological phenomenon that I think are worth the price alone.
