The roof is NOT getting soft in the rain. Duroplast is just slightly elastic, just like any other composite material.

Oh, come on! If you've never heard a trabant drive by you, you haven't lived, lol. They must have been the noisiest things around. The sound of the engine was quite easy to imitate.
