@Rome312AD You put pagan empire in quotation marks. Why? It WAS a pagan empire, venerating the renamed Greek Gods and happily chugging along the road of prosperity tolerating, if not even adopting the Gods of foreign countries save the Christians, who were only persecuted by emperors Nero and Diocletian, the first of whom doing so for political rather than religious reasons. The Pagans left other religions alone. The Christians tried to destroyed every religion they touched.

@DarkPractitioner The Vatican doesnt exist in the first 4th century( 33 A.C - 355 APROX) ; it was the Pagan Imperial Rome that muredered the first christians(catholics), not Vatican obvoiusly!!... its a BIG LIE that Constantine emperor, creates the Catholicism, the only thing that did Constantine its to give free-cult the first christians with "Edict Milan" in 313; but NOT creates Catholicism.... the catholicism its the authentic cristhianism... after the death of St. Peter in the year 67,
I love the Latin language...one of the most beautyful languages ever!!

@soulripper31 I can't tell what you hate more. The fact that Christianity even exists, or that it triumphed over a "pagan empire" that tried to destroy it, almost from the start of its existence. Thank you though, for pointing out a big difference between polytheism and monotheism. Whereas pagans didn't have the guts to go on resisting, Christians not only refused to be dictated to on spiritual matters, but eventually overthrew their oppressors and remade a dying empire into a world-wide faith.
