Scott's recipe:

1 tbsp onion powder
1.5 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
light sprinkle of chili powder
2 cloves minced garlic
heaping tsp. of Montreal steak spice rub marinade
1/2 tsp yellow mustard
2 heaping tbsp. mesquite (or hickory) liquid smoke
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
4 heaping tbsp teriyaki sauce
1 tsp soya sauce
1 cup Diana's honey garlic BBQ sauce (or the BBQ sauce of your choice)
One 3.5-4lb inside round roast

    The jerky looks good! I will definitely have to try it. I don't have a dehydrator, but I think the oven on a low temp will work as well.

  • @Cashis4life Yep, the oven should work fine - I'd just google to check on temperature and length of time and all that.

  • Oh and wondering one more thing... Does the sauce on the meat not bother the dehydrator by dripping down in it, i thought mayeb id have to pat the meat dry with a papertowel first?
