There are many domestic terrorist in this country. Buying gold and paying cash has nothing to do with terrorism... donating to charity and using a telephone? Are you all nuts? You would like to protect domestic and national terrorist? Wow! If you are doing noting wrong... then you have nothing to worry about; so so get real and stop the nonsense!

* * * * * * * * * * This IS A MUST WATCH * * * * * * IT IS CRITICAL THAT WE DO NOT MAKE THE MILITARY A POWER ONTO ITSELF. This means Americans could be declared domestic terrorists and thrown in a military brig with no recourse whatsoever. Senator Mark Udall, It seemed Senator McCain and Carl Levin were defensive and anxious to do so.

@theusrepublic Detained, at the pleasure of the president. Senator Udall has politely and correctly provided ample documentation substantiating that there is no pressing need for this new legislation as well as the wisdom of not enacting new legislation in these matters without further review and input from all expert parties concerned. Thank you, Senator Mark Udall, et al. It seemed Senator McCain and Carl Levin were defensive and anxious to do so.

I support our military active duty and veterans alike but they must remain subservient to the three branches of government, not supplant them.

This means Americans could be declared domestic terrorists and thrown in a military brig with no recourse whatsoever. Given that the Department of Homeland Security has characterized behavior such as buying gold, owning guns, using a watch or binoculars, donating to charity, using the telephone or email to find information, using cash, and all manner of mundane behaviors as potential indicators of domestic terrorism, such a provision would be wide open to abuse.
