In the 70s surfer were seen as bums and airheads ie. scandalous. It cut the crowd down to one twentieth by 1989 what it is now at minimum. And here corporate America is, once again, blaming the small man for being dumb. First you kick em in the pants as shorthairs take all the jobs during "recession", then you bring em back to use to make a nice video of how great this stinking place is. No wonder the shape is the worst in SoCal, it's cursed with bad business
