  • why not iosol? why iodoral? i thought iosol is water soluble

  • Iodoral is a specific brand. I have patients take 3/day.

  • @drfittt do you suggest a particular brand of Iodoral? And dosage?

  • what about Lugol's - is it a good supplement?

  • After age 27,I find most people with hypothyroidism will need a natural thyroid supplement in addition to iodine. We use Iodoral,a combination of iodine and iodide. Thyroid and breast cells use iodine. Other cells in the body use iodide. In addition to supporting thyroid function, these molecules actually attach to cell membranes and "ride shotgun"-protecting cells from germ invaders. Saturating your cells with iodine/iodide is similar to keeping chlorine in your swimming pool.

  • a) how do you measure the level of iodine in your body?

yes, you gave us 2 ways in your video but you are relating to a blog and you don't have even a link to your blog on this youtube page ;-)

    b) what are good, healthy levels of iodine in the human body?

    c) how much iodine is too much?

    d) what are the side-effects of too much iodine?

  • Excellent and informative video. Thank you.
