In the eyes of many of my generation, Michael Jordan is the greatest player that ever played the game. The comparison of the career stats and awards of each player shows that Lebron has a long way to go before he can become "The Greatest".

You forgot to add 2 olympic golds for Jordan (1984 1992) against 1 bronze (2004) and a gold in 2008 of Lebron James. You need to add also that Jordan retired in his prime in 1994 for 2 years, he could get 2 more rings and more awards. Come on, people forget so easily what MJ did in NBA.

@daimon7 What people dont know was that MJ molded Pip into a great player and not to play scared....MJ didnt go to another team like LBJ or cried for a free agent (Gasol). If Lebron was as good as MJ, then either Larry Hughes, Mo Williams, or Anderson Verajao would be his Scottie Pippen....But he just doesnt have it...

@daimon7 I disagree Jordan had a great cast of players around him...one being an all nba defender and scorer in Pippen and a dude that led the league in rebounding for like 7 years in a row at Denis Rodman LOL Jordan got ALL of the credit and others are someitmes dismissed for their own great individual feats which also were a huge contribution to making the Bulls what they eventually becmae and remained for a significant stretch of time

Please know what the hell you are talking about before you post. Pippen was not a true superstar until he grew up during Jordan's absence in 1994. In 1995 Pippen was a real superstar. Before 1994 Pippen was just another piece of a Bulls team that was carried to the Finals 3 times by Michael Jordan.
