3 months ago I had never done any programming beyond some visual basic as a kid. Now after going through the course in its entirety, I feel like it's opened up an entire new world of possibilities for me. One of the best investments of time I've ever made. Thanks MIT for making this great course abailable for free.

Thank you very much, very helpful course.

Great course. Thanks MIT for making this available. I had 0 programming experience going into this so it was a bit rough trying to do the assignments and exams without recitations and personal instruction/collaboration but I still got a lot out of it.
As a side note, something Prof Guttag said in this lecture that has nothing to do with CS is perhaps the most important lesson of the entire course: "Life's way too short to do anything that's not fun for very long."
