I fly both foils and inflatables, but only C-kites. The 11 meter is slower turning than an inflatable, but it has more "lift." Foil kites have more lift because they have a flatter surface area. The 11 meter is about equal to 15 meter inflatable. I weigh about 175 pounds, and it takes about 13 knots on a surfboard 5'9 to get going, 15 knots on a kiteboard. You don't need to worry about pumping, and it can fly when most LEI kites can't get up in the air. It's my favorite kite, it can't pop...

do u find the 11m quite slow turning. whats minimum you use it in on the water?

15 knots. The Neo moves quite fast in 20 knots and has more lift, so turning speed may not be as important. It has more flat projected area than bow kites and c-kites, yet overall slower turning speed.

yes. i find the wind range quite limited. needs +15 to get going but once over 20 starts to get scarey!

Yes, but I usually landboard when it is below 15 knots. An 11 meter foil is much stronger than a 12 meter inflatable. You can landboard in 7 knots smooth wind during low tide.

i have a NEO 11.0 i never did kitesurfing i used for kite jumping and landboard , is extrem powerful ! i jump really high .
