This is where "To Sir with love" got the moves for the dance number at the end of the movie. I always love that scene. Cool!!! RIP Dobie.

He never made actual sustained eye contact and the racists woudl be the people who let blacks perform for them but not eat in the same spaces or talk to the white women in the audiences--You know nothing about the early days of this music. Dobie has talked about this same issue in interviews as have many other artists.

What complete nonsence! i presume your trying to infer these some degree of racism..? Who are you saying is racist Dobie, the dancers, the programme makers? He's there singing and dancing with the girls - is he supposed to be chatting them up at the same time? Let people enjoy this fabulous singer and song and keep the ridiculous statements out of it.

my pleasure..glad you have enjoyed this video. There was actually a part of the movie in the music sequence at around 43 seconds. This lasted about a minute or so which I have removed.
