The Rio Grande Valley has close to 10-thousand people who are deaf or hard of hearing. The problem is there are only about 44 certified interpreters right here in the valley. With a statistic like that many in the deaf community feel neglected and that the valley is falling way behind.

I can see that an interpreter is not fluently. It is because of 1% that caused great sovereign. End up always with female interpreter is because of almost NONE of Men want that kind of job. 95% female interpreter in USA. Why is that? It is sex inequality likewise... Get Deaf People involve Hand-On Interaction at Free College But problem They need Job that could not come to the college to work with student who wants to be an interpreter. Remove Capitalism!

Great vlog and it's time we had a discussion about this in the news. It's not just in Rio, it's all over North America lack of high skilled interpreters. What else I liked about this vlog was that you didn't cut out the signing, I could see the Deaf person's signing. I 'm Deaf and I prefer to see what the Deaf person says than to read the captioning or see the hearing person talking about what the Deaf person says.
