Wii-linux + T2-SDE +Xserver + correct colours

PROBLEMS SOLVED:

I solved the problems with the background. You can download the driver from here:

A new video will come, showing how it works. It still lacks for XGL or Xvideo suppor, maybe in the future.


Here, i´m showing T2-SDE booting on wii using the last version of wii-linux kernel (take a look: www.gc-linux.org). I added a new Xorg driver called "cube", that does the job to draw Xserver with right colours. It is different from Xsdl (that is another xserver that works with correct colours), but it uses the same algorithm from libSDL for gamecube/wii linux, and works better than Xsdl. There isn´t hardware acceleration, but at this moment it isn´t neccesary. And there ares still some problems with the backgruond, but the active windows are displayed correctly.

This video shows:
- Xdm and fluxbox
- A colourfull wallpaper
- xterm and mplayer running in Xwindows, reproducing a video from frontSD
- USB mouse and keyboard

It is also possible to run mplayer using the sdl-cube driver (accesing directly to the framebuffer), but the performance is nearly the same.

Maybe because it isn't PS3 ;),nor yellowdog nor anything like that. I'm building this from 0, so don't spect to have it up and running today.

@robertneville777 Nope, you're perfectly wrong, Metal Gear 1 and 2 were both for the MSX japanese home computer. The ones on the NES were not official.
