Personally, I think that we as short men are sometimes our own worst enemy. Well, maybe not all of us, but certainly some of us. Why? because we are the one's who are helping to perpetuate heightism (the belief that short stature is an inferior trait). Every time we look down on ourselves for being short. Every time we try to find ways to grow taller or when we can't do that we buy lifts for our shoes and even lie about our real height. Every time we laugh at an article about heightism or at NOSSA for what NOSSA is doing. Every time we refuse to seriously talk about heightism or deny that it affects us or anybody else in any meaningful way. We are our own worst enemy and the world will never change until first we change. Short stature is not an inferior trait.
Taller guys will push the stigma of the "short guy" to eliminate them as competition for women.

Women in the western world are incredibly stupid and easy to fool.
Height discrimination is part of an age-old agenda. Its all tied up in a hidden eugenics movement.
Read a book called "Brave New World" and you'll understand how you are made, through fiction (and the dumbed down people that adhere to fiction), to feel insecure with who you are.
As an aside: Humanity's oldest ancestors are the pygmies-bushmen of Africa.
Pygmy men grow to an average height of less than 4'11.

wut sucks about trying to make a protest group for height is that they will not have descendants cuz they would be lacking in women partners
short women just look for tall men anyway

I just found out about NOSSA because they are collaborating with NAAFA - a similar org for fat people's rights which just celebrated its 40th anniversary and of which I've been a member for a very long time owing to a preference for fat partners - on a size discrimination bill in MA. I'm 5'5", NEVER got lifts, I'm from a family of little people, no apologies! I hope this NOSSA makes a lot of progress. ELF POWER!!!!

im 5'4, i try to make people love me for who i am, which i don't understand why thats such a difficult task (?) NEways my question is this, "how is short stature not an infirior triat?" when thats all subjective, for instance a person whos 5'5 is superior by definition, and so if he was ever to call me inferior how could i argue with him and win? how do i make completely sure that he dos'nt mean me as a person. This is just a general observation! So maybe nossaonline would like to answer this!

What you say is true but I fear that heightism will never be taken seriously.

im 5'4, i have to agree heightism and nossa is hear to learn not put more limits on its members, i think that exploring heightism in its many facits would allow the members to gain knowledge but without the blinders theory, i think heightism is the discrimination of a persons height and not a term used to stigmatize short men personally, please guys i know its tough but you have to allow all people suffering this form of discrimination, if not you run the risk of completely limiting yourself..

Any person of any height can join NOSSA as a supporter. But we only consider men 5'7 and below and women 5'2" and below to be "short statured".

So u cant be taller than 5.7? wouldnt you have a stronger impression if u had tall members as well?
