This is possibly the only video ever made of the Lounge Lizards, from Rotorua probably from about 1985. Vocals/keys Lyonel Grant, Malcolm Lofroth drums, Steve Riley bass. The kids are from Rotokawa school/ kohanga reo and the weavers are from the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute. Kia Mau was originally writen as "Save your sons (for the future)" was translated by Mauriora Kingi. The video was shot by TVNZ in one afternoon for a TV feature- back in the days when few Maori rock songs were recorded.
