  • The only way the Democrat's (i.e. liberals) will get anything done is if there Emperor (Obama) nuts up and suspends the constitution, then he can strip the United States of all the parasites that bog the liberal world down the Christian Religion, conservatives, anybody with moral's, basically sane people. only then can the leftist's obtain total freedom and achieve there just rewards

  • the government is about balancing the national budget. Other than cut existing programs, it cannot do anything to reduce spending.

The insurance companies don't have a national debt to worry about so all they need to do is stay in business,.

  • I will not accept the USA not getting national health care for it's citizens because of junk lawsuits.... personally we need to go to a single payer system for ALL citizens and remove profit and greed from the system... insurance companies belong in Auto, home and life... they do not belong in health care... IT FAILS... and to say the government would be a monopoly that's worse for the sick is ridiculous... government is not about profit like insurance companies are...

  • no you can't make them cover people with pre existing conditions, it costs too much and that in turn increases premiums.

They have to charge more for the sick because it costs more to take care of them, that is why just having them compete across state lines isn't enough, you need to stop junk lawsuits with medical liability reform and then the private insurers can lower costs even when they cover the sick and poor.

the government would be a monopoly and would be even worse for the sick.

  • That's a good start.... I agree they should cross state lines and it should also be illegal to deny coverage for pre existing conditions... problem with health care insurance is... there always gonna charge more for the sick ... kinda like car insurance does for people with bad driving records... that's and unfair system from the start.... that's why I feel government needs to step in to protect it's citizens....

  • Premiums are high because they have a large monopoly on some states and they can do whatever they want, making them compete across state lines will force them to lower costs or they will go out of business, defensive medicine reform will also lower the cost by billions.

The government would just be a monopoly itself and since it has to control the budget as well, it would have no choice but to drop people to save the economy, the government can only be stopped by the government.

  • Do you honestly think families are worried about taxes when there paying insurance premiums of up to 14,000 a year ? I mean seriously... families would SAVE MONEY if these outlandish premiums for health care were lowered... so how ridiculous does it sound to say increasing taxes hurts everyone when it will HELP everyone to get a national health care plan... your making no sense..

  • Bush wasn't a true a Conservative, he was just the closest thing we have had since his father and his father wasn't exactly Reagan either.

The only ones hurting the middle class(which I used to be a part of btw until Obama, although that is partly Bush's fault as well) are Obama and his cronies along with prince Harry and Pelosi, increasing taxes hurts everyone, while decreasing taxes helps everyone.

Bush started screwing up when the Dems came into Congress

  • Dude your so far right you lost your left arm.... maybe you forgot what the last administration and how there policies ignoring the middle class dam near bankrupted the country.... NO WAY is America so stupid to trust the right wing agenda....
