Turn Back Now - Ezekiel 5-7 by Pastor Robert Furrow

As our study continues in Ezekiel. we see that although God has sent many prophets to show the Israelites of their ways, they have not turned and He is now ready to place judgement on them.

Many times in our own lives the Lord shows us the error of our ways; things we shouldn't be involved in. He reaches out to us to direct our path, and places road blocks. It is in those times we need to listen to Him. We need to repent and turn before the day it is too late.

"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near" were the words John the Baptist first warned us to do when the Messiah approached. Telling us that 'repent' is an action word, Jesus told us to make a change of the mind, not merely to feel sorry for what we have done. Repentance speaks of a change of direction, not just a sorrow in the heart.

May we today turn from what it is that keeps us from serving our Lord completely and turn toward Him.
