Im waiting for them to pass the energy bill, and show how democrats truely treat the middle class they promised to work so hard to help. Republicans will now win no doubt.

Stimulus crap doesnt work! The economy is a natural cycle, and putting in a stimulus bill is like throwing a stick into a wheel.
In fact, stimulus bills SLOW DOWN the recovery, as it drives us further into national debt, and makes us look bad to foreign traders.

This bill is like a clarion call for Republicans. I predict that the Republicans will sweep the House in 2010. After all, Pelosi in all her arrogance, seems to view her party's position to be impregnable. The Dems' hubris will be their downfall.

keep obstructing g.o.p. esquire magazine predicted in nov. of 2008 that we would have 308 dems in the house. and 64 in the senate. may our wish come true!

It is amazing that the Republicans stood together on this even though they have been in line with the democrats for the last 8 years. Perhaps they'll finally return to their true conservative roots. Perhaps they're be willing to work with DownsizeD.C. and the C4L. Perhaps they'll pass the Read The Bills Act.

I donated to the RNC for the first time ever when the whole GOP stood up for what right by opposing this bad bill. Yes, the economy needs help. No, this "stimulus" bill is not the answer.
