I was on call for the city, I had to drive in that storm to the guillotine to close off the waterway.
It sucked.

Yea, we got hit pretty bad, my pwer was knocked out for 2 weeks. This is the part of humble that was not hit as bad as my part :/
My fence got knocked down, and btw, my best friend had to move because a tree fell on his house. But despite the power outage, it was enjoyfull. I missed roaming the neibourhood with my friends and hearing generaters go on all day and night. I liked this storm though :D

Yes, its really bad on the coast line. In Boliver they wont let news reporters in... maybe its beacuse dead bodies are washing up like the great storm in the 1900's.
Ys, this was bad. Not as bad as Galvaston though.

Hi 7webykinz2, you are right, most folks in this area were very fortunate. My family from down in San Leon and Bayou Vista not so fortunate at all. My heart goes out to the folks along the coast line, it's a terrible mess along there!
