John Honeyman races in a very successful partnership with his son, John Jnr., as Honeyman & Son. His successful Springbank Lofts are situated at Kennoway, Fife, Scotland. John Honeyman's birds are derived mainly from Stichelbaut and Van Heey crosses. These pigeons have given John Honeyman tremendous success within the sport. In 1992 John won the SNFC Rennes Open with Honeyman's Dream. His famous team are multiple Gold Award winners and have won many diplomas, his most famous pigeons are Spence Special, Golden Dream, Blue Dream and Double Dream.

I don't know how it is like breeding over there but where i live i have found the best birds are bred in the dead of winter. on that note where i live it get's no colder them 10deg c
