  • I'm 16 and studying for important exams... I'm writing a novel but I have to stop for quite long periods because of my demanding exams... I wish I could just leave school and write. I think I have a talent and that's what I feel I am meant to do in life...not become a professional with qualifications like a typical student...

  • great advice, really helpful

  • I love Brenda! She's straight to the point.

  • Thank you Brenda, very coherent and eloquent explaining.

  • Ron Paul 2012, spam the web!

  • "Thank you" Thank you for producing this video; I find it very inspiring, as I'm sure everyone who watched it as well. Thanks again.

  • This is very good advice. Not enough aspiring writers (especially young ones) put enough effort into improving.

Once I started writing seriously and writing almost every single day a few years ago, even if it didn't have a specific purpose or aim, I got exponentially better. What really helped me was keeping a journal with me for all of my random thoughts that I could expand on.

    :)
