This was one of the times I couldn't get the 6.75 HP Briggs engine on a DR Trimmer/Mower to start. However, having cracked rings is probably the problem, and this thing has only 50 hours on it! Like I said, "The starter's probably got more hours on it than the engine does." LOL! Sorry about all the annoying interuptions, the shop is very busy @ this time. (I'm busy too, as you can see)

  • if it has ultra high compresion it cant have a cracked ring if it did it wouldent have any compresion

  • Oh look at him finger the engine..

  • you'd might better put a damn glowplug in that bee-otch and convert er to a diesel... lol

  • looks like you have fule coming out of your exahaust

  • valves need adjusted and the engine is hydrolocked! listen to johndeer and watch donyboy73 video 0n how to adjust the valves and your dr will run like new again that is unless ya screw it up b4 ya watch the vid lol

  • OK, B&S when they started making OHV engines made a bunch of crap with flawed Compression Systems. Our government no longer having any backbone of course will not force a recall. My advice, scrap the engine and buy any other brand. They no longer produce the product that they used to.

  • F ing Idiot

  • its your valves. watch donyboy73's video on it with a briggs that wont even turn over. its helpfu;.

  • I've had a similar problem! Remove the sparkplug! The problem is the cylinder is FULL OF GAS, the float is stuck filling the cylinder(thats why it has REAL HIGH COMPRESSION) your trying to compress gas ,not air&gas mix.See if gas doesn't come out the muffler or at least smell like gas! Your carb needs to atleast be cleaned, if not rebiult.

  • Esse cara nao entende nada de motores... que tal olhar a vela??? qua tal nao apertar o afogador tantas vezes??? are you crazzy?
