Because G-d has made it clear to us that He knew us before we were even formed in the womb, I would then believe that He has chosen or ordained a specific pairing of two persons, man and woman, to carry out the fulfillment of those very words. I think these men on stage were winging it, and need to look at more scriptures to create a sound and accurate answer. They took this question waayyyyy to lightly, seeing that more Christians are divorcing than non-Christians these days.
