I agree Emmylou would have really nailed it. The female vocal is the only downer for me...too loud.

Neil's guitar playing just makes me happy. Willie is just plain Greatness period.

I'd like to see Emmylou singing harmony with Neil again. She would have added so much to the set -- rather then this constant detraction of Pegi's faux performances.

Shakey fans love Pegi. They love her because they know he wouldn't have become half the man he is today without her by his side for the past 30 years.

I was there too! The whole fucking crowd was token homegrown last night. Holy shit! What a great time! It was chilly though. Maybe it had something to do with the two oldest acts performance. I'm glad I was able to see these two legends.

I too was there. I waited to hear Neil all day and night. I was a little upset afterword but Neil is Neil. He does what he wants to do and I have to give him credit for that. I think him in Willie must have been toking it up all day by they way they were both acting and playing. Dave Mathews and Tim were the best part of the night, which was a surprise to me. Neil is still the man. He just went mellow for the evening. I was drunk by that point anyway.

of course willie and neil were chongin out backstage.. willie wouldnt have it any other way :)
