@5683872 Which part of "tips and scales" didn't you understand? He's teaching techniques. And it's quite useful to me.

I thought this was a great lesson - I've been playing slide in G for years and I still got some good inspiration and ideas from it. Thanks very much. Check "Rosetta West - Underground" if you can for some of my open G slide - it's raw, and maybe even crude...but effective, I hope.

good feel for the blues + good sensitivity to learners = ace teacher.

The scale is very easy. Basically it's it's a two fret spread on any of the 5 strings (1-5)
so 5-7 or 10-12 works. Minor has a one fret change on the second string so instead of say 5-7 on the B, it would become 6-8. the rest remain the same.

This is a very confusing slide lesson. You can obviously play slide well, but this video is more of what you can do and less of what you are actually teaching us to do as far as tips.

5683872, sorry my video did not help you. I did this a few years back, and didn't know how to do it! One of my kids wanted to do it for a college project. After looking at it in your eyes, I do suppose it's more "ME" than it should be! Hopefully in the future I can make more, in a better style, thanks for the input
