A graduate from Temasek Polytechnic, Jacqueline Sue was one of the top 8 finalists Star Idol《明星偶像》, the very first acting talent quest organized by MediaCorp in 2006 whereby the public has a vote to determine the winner.
With a pair of big eyes and sweet smile, Jacqueline left a deep impression on both the audience and judges with her consistent acting ability during the competition.
Though Jacqueline did not win the Star Idol title, this lively and chatty 19-year old lass caught the eyes of local producers and landed her first major role in a contemporary drama Like Father, Like Daughter《宝贝父女兵》. Her convincing portrayal of a delinquent teenager earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination in Star Awards 2007. This drama also tops the viewership rating chart in 2007.
Diligent and confident, Jacqueline is able to manage her studies and acting career concurrently, and she is determine to pursue her dream of becoming a credible actress one day.
