AKSHAN TAAK, is a Jamaican Language company (JLC) production done in association with the Jamaican Language Unit. It is a news commentary program done solely in the Jamaican Language which reports on how the media covers the news relevant to Jamaica and Jamaicans in general. This is the first in a series of new episodes which are a daily reports (presented four days a week) on the major news story affecting Jamaica and Jamaicans in general. The episodes are 3-4 minutes long and therefore gets to the main point(s) of each story while by no means leaving anything of importance out. In this episode news-caster Rennae Nichols reports on the government's deliberation as to whether or not they should return to borrowing money from the International Monetary Fund.
