Even though this song was dedicated to a homosexual man, this song fits me perfectly...My relationships ended, and this is all I gotta do, is hide my love away. Every lyric in this song means so much to me, I just can't stop listening.

@ThatOneMusicGuy789 Bob Dylan is beyond brilliant... Most of the great Pop and Rock songwriters of the 60's were influenced by him. He literally changed the face of Rock music.

@observe45 I read that when They met John told Dylan His lyrics were great but Not so His music and Dylan responded how the Beatles had such lovely music but didnt say much.This had a profound influence on John.I guess it's moot now as The Beatles are My all time favorite band

@observe45 Dude, Bob Dylan was a legend! When it came to lyrics, his stuff topped anyone, even the beatles (and I'm a HUGE Beatles fan). His day didn't come and go within weeks, as you say. He was one of the most influencial artists of the 60s and was considered by american youth as the "spokesman of his generation". And about his voice, of course he's nothing compared to a McCartney or a Lennon, but you don't listen to Bob for that- you listen to him because his songs are excellent.
