Teachers On The Frontline - Zimbabwe

Mr and Mrs Maiongwe survive on a pittance, are monitored by security police and are putting their lives at serious risk. They are teachers in Zimbabwe, and are targeted by Zanu-PF loyalists as traitors of the system.
Teachers are leaving schools in droves. One teacher describes the violent tactics of Zanu-PF, They used iron rods, sometimes booted feet and clenched fists. Raymond Maiongwe advises us to film in the car as he dishes out supplies to pupils and teachers. We are then led to the funeral of a headmaster murdered by Zanu-PF thugs, he was found with a gunshot wound through the head. He had been tortured and badly burned. Now Raymond is finding a way to protest through song. Hes made eleven albums each sold secretly. Staff gather for one of his impromptu compositions in the car park, Rugged ruthless regimes can also be made to account through protest music.

Britain and the U.S. need to stay out of Zimbabwe affairs by lifting the sanctions...which are causing the people of this nation to suffer the most.

"The Green Bombers" are what they call Mugabe's youth brigade. They're jeuvenile delinquents who Mugabe uses to scare people into cooperating.

This is one of the reasons I belive in the right to keep and carry firearms. If one of those "youth brigades" showed up at my house, I'd shoot them.
