Cherry Bomb Glass Pack: Part 1

my review of these mufflers

just got one of them in the mail today. as soon as i get the other one i'll be on my way to the muffler shop....with open headers lolololololol

i cant stand the sound of flowmasters.... they're over used and sound like a guy with asthma yelling into a metal trash can. if you like that sound, then by all means fork out $90 for each one. just dont drive it by my house because the sound bothers me :)

i wanted something retro, different, and cheap. the glass pack seemed to fit the bill. the real test will be once they're welded on the car.

edit: just looked up the part number on the old mufflers and it turns out that they're ANCIENT cherry bomb turbos.

@bmxstreet6 Really? The bigger they get the more expensive they get. I think I paid $26 no tax or shipping. But that's a steal of a price! No where around here carried them so I ordered mine.

Ey wats better a dual flow master or a cherry bomb I want to install dem on a 1970 impala it has a 350 engine

@dannyho69 that's up to personal preference. flow masters have some of the worst flow of any muffler on the market and have a terrible drone on the highway, but some people still like the sound. my personal preference are the glass packs because they have no drone and have some of the best flow! (oh and they sound flipping sweet)

ihave a 66 gto stroked 421 but i want that the car sounds like powerful and deep, i have flowmaster sper 40 series but i thing sounds normal i want something awesome can you recomend if a glasspack do that ,or which muffler i install on it?????

if u heat that thang up and pour cold water in it and get the insides out of that glass pack it will be 10x louder
